The Campervan Culture Table Stowing Brackets are available in both Westy grey and beige. This CVC kit allows you to store away your front table that is so very useful when its a table, but so very annoying when not set up. Its a mystery why Westfalia didn’t offer a solution for stowing your table when not in use from the factory? Storing it behind your drivers seat cuts down on leg room and is dangerous not being fastened down properly.
This kit is easy to fit and provides the perfect solution for getting that table out of your way.

I’ve seen this at the Campervan Culture a couple of years ago and I became really interested. Keeping our front table under the bench of our Westy was not the most convenient place. I just couldn’t see myself paying the same amount as the brackets for shipping cost from the UK. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that uniWerks Design distributes them here in the States, and they’re based in Buffalo, NY. For anyone who still uses their front table in their Vanagon Westy, these brackets are a game changer. And now, thanks to uniWerks, they’re available here in the States.

Good bracket kit. I get the liability issue, but it would have been nice to suggest the size screws needed. I blunted 1/2” and 1 1/4” screws to a avoid piercing any A/C equipment. I also used wood glue to help secure it. Happy so far

Well designed, works as advertised. The composite board nature of the VW ceiling surface provides a weak screw in surface. It may require a bolt+nut install in the future.

Brackets work and look great. Screws are not included and you need to find some that are thick enough to hold in the wood but do not go all the way through.
