Description

Vanagon Rear Ashtray Mounted PowerPod®. Vanagon owners, this one’s for you, here’s an idea that I came up with to make it very easy to provide some power points and a 12v socket to the REAR of your Vanagon.

Note: This is the original version of this product and does NOT have the cool textured face. The face is slightly recessed.

(This product ONLY fits in the ashtray right behind the driver’s seat!!  The terminals NEARLY touch the outside wall of the van! To use it in any other location requires the use of the included spacer or bending the terminal ends over and using a 90 deg spade connector or soldering the wires. )

This PowerPod® replaces your stock rear flip open ashtray. You can also cut the power to save your battery with the switch.

This kit includes the following: Custom designed 3D printed pod made from durable ABS plastic, dual USB’s, a power socket and a switch.

**Please note that the brown option is NOT a match for the VW brown interior.

**Also available as a blank with no accessories and no holes, allowing you to customize as you like.  😉

  • USE A PROPERLY SIZED FUSE (NOT SUPPLIED) WHEN INSTALLING!
  • Components are supplied by various manufacturers.
