Description

Upperbunk 2 Switch PowerPod® LightPod™. Switchable LED light AND a red LED Nightlight for the kiddos, all accessible from the top bunk!

This replaces one the A/C vent right above the slider giving you added USB power points in a very handy location plus an LED area light for the lower passenger area AND a red LED Nightlight for the kiddos!!!!

There is a single white LED that illuminates the floor area in front of the slider. So easy to flip it on in the dark to see what is on the floor. Plus I included a directional red LED that is the perfect nightlight for the kiddos, and it’s built in!

**Please note that the brown option is NOT a match for the VW brown interior.

Please note:

  • USE A PROPERLY SIZED FUSE (NOT SUPPLIED) WHEN INSTALLING!
  • Components are supplied by various manufacturers.
  • This custom-made product is exempt from the right of withdrawal in the EU.

Basic Electrical Schematic:

General Install Instructions:

  • I ran a new fused power wire from the Aux battery up the B Pillar.
  • Unscrew the fasteners holding up the headliner.
  • Run wire across and tuck inside the headliner and into the vent channel above the slider.
  • Remove stock vent above slider.
  • Install a ground screw at a spot close to the Upper Bunk PowerPod®.
  • Connect wiring as per the basic schematic above. (Wiring is really up to you, it depends on how you’d like it to operate.)
  • Test the unit to make sure that it functions as you intend.
  • Reinstall all of the screws that you removed.
